Really Good Very good, very expensive and very crowded.
I couldn’t afford the wine, but they allowed me to sniff a cork for only $17.95.
Great service.
CAUTION!!! When you leave the parking lot be very careful, the traffic on Highway 111 is dangerous here. [23 Mar 2004 17:25:01]

Bar with a beat....... The Cliff House bar is one of my favorites when visiting the La Quinta area. The activity is vibrant, people are having fun and the drinks are THE BEST!! Just like to people watch and have a fun evening go to the Cliff House. The Calif. artichokes are extremely popular along with a Margarita on the rocks. Very fun....

Nice Ambiance Only This past weekend, the day before Mother's Day we took my mother for a special Mother's Day dining experience and what an experience it was. The ambiance & service were great but the food was absolutely pathetic. Starting with the dinner rolls that could have passed as prison rations then on to my boyfriend's Caesar salad that had whole leaves of lettuce that had not been dried and the water residue was mixed with a teaspoon of dressing. On to the main course, I ordered prime rib & it was on par with Norm's or Denny's late night special. Mashed potatoes were salvageable yet milky. My poor mother ordered the special Chilean Sea Bass with Planko bread crumbs which seemingly could have been delivered fresh from a derailed cargo train from the coast. The seasonal vegetables were coated or should I say drenched in 30 weight oil of some kind. Other than that the Chardonnay from the Russian River was great. Sorry, but I really appreciate quality!
