This was a great place for decades. Made to order sandwiches, you checked off the ingredients on a piece of paper and handed it to the sandwich maker. Great shakes made with real ice cream and the best view of the Pacific money can buy!!! Now that Rubys took it over the shakes come out of a machine, no more custom made sandwiches. All the charm is gone becuase it feels it is a Rubys with only outdoor seating, not the old beach shake it used to be. The view is still great and people who live in Corona Del Mar pay a fortune for it where here you get it for the price of a shake!!!    [09 Mar 2007 12:50:42]
