We had a good meal here, on a beautiful day, enjoying the ocean view. The food was good, not fancy, and the service was very good. Great desserts. [22 Dec 2004 13:40:55]

From a Former Employee: Don't Go... Definitely the last place I would ever go to eat. The food is absolutely disgusting. I've been in the kitchen and it's not good...not good at all. The only good thing were the waitresses. So basically, excellent service, disgusting food. [01 Sep 2006 17:03:14]

Major Mistake Going to this place was they worst experience. Lucky for me it was the last place I ate in Laguna. The hostess rolled her eyes when we asked for a table for ten. Should have left then. Nope, we order. My lunch doesn't show up until everyone else is done and then to top it off it has a bug in it. Yuck! We complain and we are told to pay or they will call the police. I ask for the manager but would you believe that there is no manager on the property. Being that it was a busy sunny Sunday. Poor business. I am writing a bad recommendation every place I can. Do not go here! [11 Sep 2006 19:22:45]

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible Having recently moved to the Laguna area, my friend and I chose Greeter's Corner for breakfast without knowing what we were in for. I realized that this was mistake after receiving my watery, bland, Bloody Mary, which by the way, tasted like marinara sauce and water in a dirty glass. Oh, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a virgin!
The menu was very limited so I ordered a basic ham and cheese omelet. I soon learned that Greeter's Corner is one of those places that tries to make a buck by cutting corners on taste and service. The ham was disgusting. It was the pre-packaged square kind that you get at the grocery store in the bologna section. They didn't even heat it up. They cooked the egg, threw a tiny amount of cheese on top of it, and tossed some cold cubes of ham in there, sealed it up, let it sit for awhile and then served it to me cold. My husband could have made a better omelet!
The waitress never even returned to check on us after delivering our food. We joked that she was afraid to ask if we liked our meals because she already knew the answer. We waited forever and finally asked the water boy to get our waitress for the check but he just grunted and walked away. We finally flagged someone down at the front of the restaurant to pay our bill. By the way, my portion of the bill (omelet and 1 Bloody Mary) came close to $25 - my friend, the same. Anyone wanting a good breakfast in Laguna Beach should stay clear of this place. I've learned my lesson. Hopefully you will benefit from my loss. [16 Oct 2006 16:31:51]
