Yummy Salad Bar

Great view, horrible everything else.
I'd give the view 5 stars; it's as beautiful as you'd expect, looking out over Lake Arrowhead. But you can get that outside, so if I want that, in the future I'll take a sandwich and sit on the dock - because I'm only giving this restaurant a single star.

The last time we went, the restaurant was noisy, the seating was uncomfortable, and when we asked to be re-seated in a nicer spot in the restaurant my wife had to argue with the staff, asking about empty table after empty table until she finally hit on one that the service staff couldn't find an excuse not to move us to. The service after that was slow, and the food so bland and poorly prepared (seeds inside the sliced bell pepper, salad greens wilted and unpleasant, even the bacon managed to be tasteless) that we decided not to eat it. Instead, we went home and I cooked us something instead.

The view outside is great. But inside the restaurant, I can't find a single thing to recommend it.    [08 Sep 2009 21:25:28]
