Bad Service, Bad Food, Bad Manager This morning I went to this establishment with my daughter, son-in-law and three grandsons. We ordered breakfasts: 2 New York steaks, 1 top sirloin steak and 2 biscuit and gravy. The biscuit and gravy meals came first, was very tasty. About 5 minutes later the New York steaks came and they were terrible. They were tough and had no flavor. A good 10 minutes later, the top sirloin came and it was good. After that, we had to order drink refills, ketchup, steak sauce and napkins which came to the table at different intervals. After the meal was completed, I complained to the manager and he asked why we ate it. Why did we not complain earlier to him. I said that when I looked for him and even went to the register, he was not there. The manager proceeded to argue with me stating that we got good service and it was our fault that we could not find him as he was there. How rude he was. He finally said he was sorry and proceeded to wait on another customer. I will have to be out of my mind to go there again and I will be telling everyone about what happened. I was angry and now extremely upset by the time I left that establishment. [30 May 2005 14:44:44]

Homestyle Comfort food & Friendly atomosphere I've been to Hunny's at least 3 different occasions. Although I live far south in San Diego county, I look forward to going to Hunny's when I am in the area because of their delicous homemade vegetable soup. My boyfriend loves their Monte Cristo sandwich. Their food is especially good and their atmosphere comfortable and friendly. [06 Jun 2006 14:39:33]

Gotten worse over the years. Hunny's used to be a favorite place for our work bunch, years ago. Now it's one of the last places we go. It has gotten very expensive for the chintsy portions they give you. Try the Lake Elsinore Casino if you want good home cooking and LOTS of it! (Real cheap too!) [15 Apr 2007 01:23:53]
