Excellent I'm a picky Chinesse food eater and I've been going to Peony for over 12 years now. Love everything I've had. Favorites are the Chicken Salad (Tangy), Orange Beef, Lemon Chicken and Kung Pao everything, but everything is good. [14 Feb 2004 22:45:03]

I love this place! They have 3 locations in the area. They have an incredible lunch special too. I have really enjoyed everything I've tried. [31 Mar 2006 12:49:26]

Very Expensive! Food is just like any ordinary fast food. Made us wish we just went to Panda Express.
Very expensive---we ordered food to go-- Beef Broccoli cost $7.99 plus tax---but it was just good for one person (in a small Chinese to go container). Shrimp Fried rice also cost $7.99 plus tax (in a small Chinese to go container also) with just probably 3 shrimps in it. Price is ridiculous. We will not go back to that restaurant. Not recommended. Highly Recommended Way better than regular Chinese fast food. I tried for the first time today and ordered whatever the person ahead of me ordered (Chicken Lunch Special). You can make special requests, like "only white meat of the chicken."
At first, it looks like any pretentious Chinese place. Cashier service was okay. They were polite and informative, but definitely not trying too hard to please. I hate restaurants whose staff pretend to be your best friend and who are overly polite.
Bad: Can't order soup to go, host doesn't ask "steamed or fried," "soup or salad," etc. You have to already know what you want because they don't give you choices.
Good: Great food, quick bus service. Example: I ordered a hot lunch special with no drink. Bus boy offered me ice water after observing me blowing on the chicken attempting to cool it down. Also, you can watch the chefs prepare your food. They're very clean and sanitary. I witnessed the chefs washing their hands after every different thing they touched. [08 Nov 2007 16:32:29]
