Unsecure Restaurant
We visit your restaurant today 04/09/04 for Happy Hours. A fight broke out and no one from this company tried to break up this fight. The customers in the bar area assisted. The guy was back from the near the stair area of bar, fell to the ground and the other guy started punching him in the head several times, and then some of the other customers in the bar area pull him off of the guy on the floor. The guy that was pulled off picked up a chair a start to hit the guy on the floor with it. A customer grabbed the chair. Customers help the guy up from the floor, his eye left and right ear was bleeding something bad. He was dazed, then a customer assisted him with napkins and after several a waiter brought some ice over. It took the security after the fight at least 3-5 minutes to arrive, and the police est. 10 minutes. Several Customers tried to call 911 on their cell phones. Drinks were knock down, glasses were broken, blood spatter on several customer clothes. The broken glass hit several female feet that had on open toes shoe. Not one time did the manger ask anyone were they ok, if it was something he could get them. We were sit to the left on the stair we had four tables. El Torito needs to reevaluate their policy on safety and was action should the manager take for the other customer was affected.
