Bad Service
My wife and I went to Lompoc Restaurant after Church on Sunday morning (03/20/2005). We got there around 9:10 AM and after we odered our breakfast, we were just sitting & sitting ... waiting forever ... for our food to be served ...
It's been passed 40 min already and the waitress who took our order still didn't bring anything out yet ... So, my wife stopped one of their waitresses and asked her "Did you forget about us? How come it took so long?" and w/o turning around, she asked "Have you ordered, yet?" My wife said "Yes, 40 min ago" ... and the waitress then said "Hold on, let me check ..."
"Hold on what...??? Check what...???" My wife and I were both very mad ... I then pulled out a $5.00 bill, left on the table, and we just left ...
We left around 9:55 AM ... and I told me wife "We'll never, ever go back there again" ...
The reason why I'd like to bring this issue up, not just because of the "bad service" there, but also because we think we're "colored" people ... and all the customers came in after us (who were white, with blonde hair & blue eyes...) all were served first... and one gentleman & his son on the other table across to us already finished his meal, and was about to go & pay at the cashier ... while we were there just sitting there ... waiting for our breakfast to come ...
