I had dinner here with my family three years ago. The food was absolutly the best. We had an array of entrees. They were wonderful. The Tiramisu was the best I have ever had. Our waiter was very helpful and charming. [17 Jan 2004 15:35:51]

The finest restaurant in little Lompoc. A little pricey but the food is magnificent. You have to try the Scalloni as an appetizer! [26 Nov 2004 22:20:41]

Ehh - Overrated Not the best food I've ever had, especially not for the price. A tad too expensive, and too crowded, the tables were a little too cozy with the rest of my fellow diners, and I felt a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, okay service and a good selection to choose from. I'd just not put it at the top of my list. [11 Jun 2005 04:31:53]

What a find! We were passing thru Lompoc and stumbled onto Saletti's. The food was awesome. Mike, our server, was impressively knowledgable about the food and make excellent recommendations for the wine. Don't miss. [15 May 2006 01:04:33]

New owners, great food, good atmosphere Went to this restaurant once about 4 years ago with the former owners because of its reputation. At the time, we thought it was over-rated and over-priced. We went this year for anniversary and absolutely loved it! The food and service were both wonderful and one of the new owners (Marni?) even came by a couple times to check and make sure everything was ok. Went back about a month later and had a repeat of the excellent food, service, and even the visit by the owner to our table.
I'm a steak eater and both times it was very tender, tasty and cooked exactly as ordered (medium rare). I forget what wifey had the first time, but most recently she had the lasagna. The soups are great and the tiramisu was awesome. Everything is made fresh with quality ingredients. After nine years in this town, we finally have a LOCAL favorite restaurant. Highly recommend! Great place Went there about 10 months ago, great dining, good food, of course I'm a little biased because the owner is a Marine and so am I! But what the hey! [19 Dec 2006 19:53:01]

Wonderful Food -- Unique Location! Having spent my adolescent years in Lompoc, it was nice to come across a restaurant with class and great food, while recently passing through "our fair city". Some reviewers think the place is too pricey. However, the prices are on par with the same class of restaurant in just about any city I've traveled through. And the quality you get for the price simply cannot be matched. You want cheaper food, go to the Royal Coach Inn on the east side of town...but wait...that place is the Lompoc Community Center now. Or you could go to the Farmboy in Santa Maria. Lompoc residents should be proud they have a place to rival big city quality but with a home town feel (read: they remember their regulars).
What did I get for my $42? A wonderful New York Oscar -New York Strip smothered in lobster and asparagus, all covered on Bearnaise sauce, topped off with a glass of exquisite syrah wine! If you went to New York or LA, you'd probably pay more. There were less expensive items on the menu and I hope I get to try some of them in the future. [26 Feb 2007 21:51:20]
