Primarily a tavern, with a long tradition in the area for its pickled eggs and the "Joe's Special" - a Polish sausage sandwich. Peanuts are roasted on the premises in an antique roaster. There is a pool table and a snooker table.

A Long Beach institution
There's a reason why you see tons of Joe Jost's shirts in Long Beach--simply one of the best bars anywhere. Good bar food, great atmosphere, and schooners of cold beer. Kids can go and get a root beer as well.    [25 Oct 2006 13:46:12]
