Taiko Restaurant
One of my favorite restaurants in LA, Taiko usually makes it to my "must eat there" list whenever I'm in town.

I've not had better soba anywhere on the planet, including Japan, and perhaps that's because they make theirs fresh daily. The combination plates are the way to go - a half order of soba is plenty, plus you get your choice of another item such as donburi, curry, or sushi. You'll even get served miso soup and salad, if that's not enough!

Service is always fast and friendly, and the furnishings make for interesting lunch/dinner conversation.    [01 Dec 1999 19:28:20]

Best Bang for you Buck in LA!
Taiko is a great restaurant with inexpensive good food. Don't come here is you are looking for the best Sushi in town however, this place is best know for its Donburi, Udon, and Soba.    [20 Dec 1999 20:56:20]
