Los Panchos - Pacheco
I almost want to give Los Panchos a terrible rating, just so it won't be so jam-packed every time I go. But, alas, honesty wins out. This is the best Mexican food I've ever had! (And I've had a lot to compare) Let's see, I've had their tacos, burritos, chile relleno, enchiladas, salsa/chips - all delicious. You really can't go wrong. The only problem is it's all take out, so I have to order more food. Something to eat in the car on the way home (otherwise the aroma in the car would be unbearable) and I have to take some home for the family - there's no way I could have Los Panchos and not bring enough home for everyone! The Best in the Area (A LARGE AREA)!
I found out about Los Panchos at a party; they provided the catering. I was so impressed, I made it a point to find out about the restaurant. I have since eaten there a few times and used them to cater a party of my own. I have never been disappointed with their service or food and I recommend them to everyone. We recently relocated to the area, and stumbled upon Los Panchos, and it is so good. The food is consistently great. Yes, they are always packed, but that says a lot about their food! Large portions too. It is definitely worth trying!    [09 Jul 2004 12:55:13]

I have been eating Panchos since the '80s. If you have ever been there you know how good it is. It is by FAR the best burrito shop in the east bay, and I have eaten at all of them. Try the BCRs.    [15 Jul 2004 19:22:24]

Very disappointed with Los Panchos. I had been there before and the food was good, but the owner, Mike, sneezed, blew his nose and then started helping the crew make food. That was without washing his hands. I was so disgusted I, along with another couple walked out. I have never been back and I never will go back. I have since heard of other unsanitary things going on there, but I didn't actually witness them so I will not go into detail about those. Be careful!!    [07 Jul 2006 00:41:50]

When You Say the Best, It's Los Panchos
