We have eaten at this Pasta Pomodoro, Milpitas restaurant three times. Each time we were satisfied. Today, I had to drop a review because I want to tell you that I was completely dissatisfied with the whole eating experience I had tonight.
First, I ordered the evening speciality: Shrimp Scampi!! I was so looking forward this dish because it is one of my favorite Italian pasta dish. Pasta Pmodoro, Milpitas, serve it to me with no flavor of garlic and/or a wine and the all the shrimp had a rubbery texture. I tried to, "improve" my dish with food items that was provided on our table. I could not find anything that could improve it. I tried the foccacia pesto sauce, red pepper flakes, salt; each adding it separately and tasting. Not being satisfied, I tried a new food item, nothing could improve it. Frustrated and not satisfied, I ended up eating more foccacia bread.
Another thing to share: My party was seated close to the food cooking. This was very distracting because the cooks continually "threw" the pots in the area where they completed their preparation and the cooks would be talking in a volume that we could understand their dialogue. But didn't comprehend it because they were speaking in their language that can be understood between themselves.
So, my evening at Pasta Pomodoro, Milpitas, was not the most enjoyable. My enteree did not satisfiy me, my place where I had to sit, was a noisy place to sit and dining was not comfortable because the cooking staff was preparing and/or cooking and talking among themselves was loud enough I can hear all through my dining time.
So, I do not think I will be returning at your Pasta Pomodoro, Milpitas for another eating experience. The first three times was an enjoyable one but this last one has given me questions on returning. [10 Jul 2009 00:39:57]
