Burnt Garlic Smell
Antonucci's looks wonderful. It is very light and bright and everyone seems so friendly. But are they really friendly. I have been going there for years and the last 2 times my food smelled and tasted like burnt garlic. I conversed with Mr. Canori and he immediately replaced my food. A Pleasant Surprise!

Best Casual Italian in OC
Have eaten a large number of different items from the menu. All have been wonderful. Their house salad is great. The meatballs are so good I order more as "takeout" after I finish my meal. Large portions served quickly and always hot. Have been a customer for as many years as they have been there. Have only once had to return anything to the kitchen and it was replaced with something that was perfect without any hassle. My kids grew up at Antonucci's
Our family has been going to Antonucci's for years and years. My wife is an East Coast Italian who cooks all her own -- and if she'd going out to an Italian restaurant, the ONLY one she'll go to is Antonucci's. It's THAT good! Over the years we've taken various friends and business associates to Antonucci's. Every single one has been blown away, and every single one who lives locally has become an Antonucci regular.

Best Pizza Since I Left Buffalo!
I've lived in Mission Viejo for 5 years. I left western New York 30 years ago, and have been all over the country. This is, without a doubt, the best pizza I've ever had since I left NY.

Just average
I am also an east coast Italian, but this doesn't cut it at all. It's just average. May be good for Californians, but wouldn't pass on the east coast. Service was slow. Had to ask that my bill be filled out. Probably won't go again.    [24 Sep 2006 14:47:53]

Excellent Food - Best Tiramisu in OC
I found this place on accident and was so presently surprised! I've been a regular for 20 years now and often bring friends - all of which have raved about it! It is undeniable the best italian food I've had in OC (and yes I've been to Il Fornaio, Vesia, and Prego).

Additionally, service is great. Most of the servers have been there for a while and are very nice. This is a good place to go on a date or just hang with friends. They also have great pizza and they do have a take-out window just inside the door so it is usually quick.
