Good Mexican Food in OC Finally Found!! Having suffered through numerous disappointing, bland Mexican restaurants that do not stack up to what can be found in Los Angeles, we have finally found an OC establishment worthy of praise. Casa Franco's does not disappoint the taste buds. These guys know how to season their dishes. The salsa they bring out to the table has nice heat, but doesn't burn. The chips are nice and hot, too. Guacamole is also notable. I highly recommend the roasted pork (carnitas). This is the most succulent, well-seasoned roasted pork dish we have had at a Mexican restaurant, even surpassing our favorite L.A. Mexican restaurants. Good food, good drinks, and good prices. My only gripe is that they need to work on their chili colorado. This is usually the dish that I try to judge an establishment’s performance. [08 Jun 2007 14:02:53]
