Best Steak in Los Angeles
I consider myself a steak lover. I've tasted many steaks and Caffe Opera & Bakery tops the list. Order the Coffee Bean Steak. The steak is marinated in coffee grounds and peppercorn topped with a coffee sauce. It might sound a little strange, but believe me it's worth it. The order comes with delicious vegetables. I'm not really big on carrots, but the carrots were carmelized in an unbelievable way. Enjoy.    [05 May 2004 10:47:16]

Nice Place for Lunch or Dinner
Fantastic atmosphere, food and service. Really love this place!

Starting June 7th, open Mondays with a special menu. Great value, too.    [14 Jun 2004 17:43:41]

Wonderful Food - Great Ambiance
I have enjoyed many fantastic meals at Caffe Opera. The menu is amazing and the food is even better. I love the sole with sauteed fresh mushrooms, and the glazed carrots alone are worth the price of the meal. And don't even get me started on the Au Gratin potatoes, I always order an extra side. This is the owner of the famous and wildly popular original "Sorriso" in Old Pasadena.    [18 Jan 2007 17:48:15]
