If you are a vegi or vegan...this place is heaven sent...they are on the same par as the Tin Inn (that went under)...the food is excellent and the customer service is amazing. [17 Oct 2002 18:19:24]

Worth the drive(in our Saturn)
My wife and I are both vegetarian and being able to find a restaurant that is completely vegetarian and healthy is worth the hour drive from Loma Linda(I.E) to Monterey Park. We enjoy the food very much and highly recommend it. [18 Dec 2004 17:48:47]

A Must Do for Vegetarians! Even Carnivores Love It!
I've been a vegetarian forever and this is my favorite place! I've been coming since 1998. I live on the Westside and will make the drive under any circumstances! Some people try to replicate what they do but remember, there is only one truth! They are also extremely friendly and automatically have my "minced squab in lettuce cups" ordered as soon as they see me. Spectacular, inexpensive and worth every minute of traffic! This is not a "fancy-schmancy" restaurant with great lighting and decor. Come on, people! It's the new China Town....hello? Decor can sometimes cover up for the lack of food quality. Ever been to China Town in San Francisco or New York? I dine there with Chinese people and they all say that they best food is in the places that are lit like school cafeterias! It's part of the experience and a must! Can't wait because I'm going today! They've moved to a new location just down the street! [15 Apr 2006 13:24:17]
