Very good gelato. The nocciola (nuts) gelato is surprisingly creamy and good, and the fruit gelato has bright, fresh flavor. The spumoni has weird little chunks of dried fruit - candied orange peel? - that I didn't particularly like.    [15 Sep 1999 15:36:15]

This is the place to come for that perfect little after dinner sweet. Rich, dense ice cream and sorbeto, created in the European style without the air whipped in. My favorite is the niocello (hazelnut) where the nuts are toasted then ground and added to the ice cream base giving the final dish an exquisite texture as well as flavor. The spumoni is also wonderful with delightful bits of fruits and nuts that tease your tongue and force one to declare... YUM!    [21 Aug 2003 18:49:04]

still remember it!
I went to gelato classico with my boyfriend YEARS ago and I'm still thinking about their honey-lavender gelato...can't remember if I ordered a scoop of each, or that was the flavor...will have to make the drive down to visit again. it was such a treat. so rich, a small is plenty!
