A great new Asian restaurant in Mountain View
We found Spice on a hidden block on Castro Street in Mountain View, near El Camino. The place was not busy, but we tried it anyway. Wow! We are glad we tried this place. The food was great. The service was friendly. The menu is limited, but everything we tried was great.

We ended up returning a second time to try more items on the menu. Our favorites are:

lumpia - crispy and flavorful
Thai basil chicken - spicy, with a good balance of basil and other flavors
the salmon - a very simple healthy presentation with a sweetened tart lime dressing.

And don't forget the coconut creme brulee for dessert!
