Food OK Attitude Sucks
The restaurant is small and quite crowded. The food comes in salad size plates. The idea is "tapas". The food is just OK. Prices are about $10.00-$12.00 for the small plates and around $23.00 for the large plates. No one ordered a large plate, so I can't tell you what it looked like. The small plate had just the item that was ordered on the plate. The service was demeaning with an attitude. We ordered one plate and left. If this restaurant wants to stay in business, they better learn how to treat paying customers.    [21 Feb 2006 17:40:34]

It Was Great
Small dining room but great service and fantastic food. The deep fried anchovy stuffed olives, Caesar salad in edible cheese bowl and hand rubbed blue cheese rib eye were fantastic. Great Experience
The dining area is small and the tables are close together, but still has enough ambiance for a nice dinner. We sat outside the first week of October and the outdoor heater near us kept us comfortable all meal. The food was served with a smile and the food was excellent! We had four small plates to share between two of us and we were stuffed. But we still managed to split, a big berry and ice cream dessert. Fantastic Restaurant - total gem
My wife and I love good food and wine and we were turned on to this restaurant by the owner of Nebbia Winery in Half Moon Bay. So we checked it out!

Super food, absolutely wonderful seating, great servers, and a great wine list. When you go here, think European - this is no TGIF, so 'yes' the servings are smaller because it's all about quality, not quantity. The only thing I'd do differently next time is actually stay in the hotel above V's so we didn't have to drive anywhere when we were done!    [29 Jan 2007 20:55:25]

Wow How Great.
Personally I feel that V is the bomb (literally I liked the desert the chocolate bomb) Everyone there had a great attitude and the food was delicious. Anyone who doesn't enjoy their experience here probably needs to re-examine their life and what they find to be "enjoyable". Excellence in Murphys, CA
While visiting Murphys, we discovered V's (highly recommended by all the locals), so we gave it a try. Next week we'll be making our fourth trip to Murphys and V's is one of the major reasons we visit.

Everything is excellent. We live in Pebble Beach, CA and there are only a handful of restaurants that compare (and all are much more expensive).

Keep it up!

V is absolutely wonderful! We are locals in town and always love dining there. Also, having an "adult beverage" and appetizers with friends on the porch is a wonderful part of enjoying this wonderful town and community! The owners are fun and the waitstaff has always been fantastic!
