best in the USA! I have been to NYC London and all over the Bay Area and no restaurant compares! If you do not go here, you can't even imagine what you are missing! [15 May 2004 22:15:02]

Had a very bad experience I ordered Paneer makhani and Malai Kofta; these dishes were not even close to the authentic way of preparing them. There was so much of artificial color used in both the dishes. The worst part was I had to come home and eat something else just to get rid of the taste in my mouth. Please never ever try these dishes there. The Naans were surprisingly fresh and good.
The restaurant was clean from inside and I liked the atmosphere, but the food... [20 May 2004 13:12:39]

Bombay Garden - Great Buffet Lunch! I don't know much about other people, but I love buffets when I'm extremely hungry - and not just buffets, but good-tasting, affordable buffets!
Bombay Garden in Newark is one place which my friend took me to during the school year. At first, I thought that perhaps Indian food is not really toward my liking, but when at the lunch buffet (which is under $10 per person, including a drink!), I fell in love with it!
From a wide-variety of curries and meats and even vegetarian platters for the non-meat eaters, Bombay Garden has never let me down when I take my friends there for the lunch buffet (in fact I just got off the phone with some friends and we're meeting there next week!). The only semi-complaint from only one friend was that it was too spicy there. Then again she comments that she does not like any spices at all, but all in all she said it was good food.
This restaurant is an Indian-food lover's dream and me, being one who loves to conserve money, is the right place to go! [08 Jun 2004 21:51:14]
