The best Mexican food in Marin. Hands down the place to go for innovative & traditional Mexican fare. An incredible weekend brunch menu in addition to their quick lunch specials and wonderful dinner meals. A great place for the family, as well as a complete bar for the adults. Sports are played on their 5 TVs and specials are run during these game times. Fabulous outside-pet friendly. Wonderful service, best bartenders, complete menu to satisy everyone.    []

Very good
They have this dish there-never seen it anywhere else...a huge platter of just seafood. They also have a huge grilled meat platter too. I have been on the diet for a while now and they are one of the only places that helps me with the low carb diet. Exceptional food
Authentic food-full service bar-I am a tequila person, and they really had a lot. All the food was huge portions and very inexpensive. Got the super sampler platter for $12 and a couple of margaritas-$5 each. Great deal. Liked being able to sit outside. Service was ok. Kind of loud sometimes.    [03 Jun 2003 21:19:06]

Hearty fare
Their claim to be the best Mexican in Marin is probably true, and certainly they're two levels of authenticity above the Chevy's across the highway. The usual complimentary tortilla chips come with red and green salsas, both addictive.

The lunch menu is short but interesting, including vegetarian dishes that actually include vegetables and a spicy shredded beef chimichanga that's more like carnitas. This may be the least stressful lunch alternative for trips to Novato.    [03 Aug 2003 00:16:34]

great time-great food-dirt cheap
Just because I am eating Mexican doesn't mean it has to be cheap meat & questionable sanitary practices where no one speaks English, nor does it mean it has to be sterile "Chevy's" ungenuine food served by pimply faced high school kids who know nothing.

Seriously great Mexican food-the best service-terrific margaritas
Just moved into the neigborhood. I felt compelled to review it because it was so good. Loved the margaritas-garlic shrimp & carne asada. Had a tequila tasting with a little info. They have over 80 tequilas...
