Not Just Breakfast and Sandwiches
Hill Street's menu has gotten astronomical! They now serve steak, beautiful fish entrees, and the best vegan selection of any restaurant I've ever been to.
Every last item on the menu is incredible, as all the ingredients are of the best quality - most organic. They prepare their own sauces and salsas, and the selection is unlike any restaurant I've ever been to. Many times my friends take 20 minutes just deciding what to get - it's truly the most diverse menu in north county...with the best outcome. [22 Feb 2004 22:05:38]

A Great Place for All
What can I saw except this is the place to go when you need to please everyone. They have every type of dish you could think of from vegan, vegetarian, salads, soups, steaks, pizza, sushi, Mexican food and more. Talk about a crowd pleaser! The fact that they make all these different types of food does not take away from the quality of any of their dishes.
You leave happy, full and healthy. Even after eating my favorite, a chicken quesadilla, I didn't feel loaded down with grease. Or have that "heavy" feeling after leaving. Highly recommended and yummy! [28 Nov 2006 16:52:43]

Best Place in North County
You will not get better food for the price (or maybe at all) with such a variety and from such great people. Are you looking for vegan? Yep, it's here. Are you looking for organic? Yep, it's here. And all that in a cool setting - a historical Victorian home dating back to 1888. Plus, if your inclination is to sit outside, the patio is a perfect respite with nice ocean breezes.
