Greasy Pasta
I ordered Amore after finding them on maps.google under Orange, CA Pasta. I asked for Delivery, and said I wanted to pay with a credit card. Over the phone they told me the delivery driver would be coming with a credit card machine. When they arrived they knocked at the back door (North-Side) of my building because I said to come to the Northern most building. They didn't have a credit card machine and appeared for a moment to be helpless to my request. Then the guy said that he could phone in my credit card, I gave it to him, he dialed a number on his cell, and read my numbers. They charged $13.95 to my account, I gave a three dollar tip in cash.

When I ordered I didn't have a menu, but they told me the had Spagetti, Manacotti, and a third option I don't recall the name.

I ordered the Manacotti and the third option. When the food arrived I ate the third option, it was greasy pasta, with a meat sauce and covered with cheese baked in the oven till the cheese was brown. The pasta literally oozed grease when I picked it up with the fork, it was the kind of pasta that has a hollow center and is about the size of my pinkie finger in length.

All together it was not something that I would order again. Though it wasn't completely inedible. They did include a carton of delicious garlic bread which was very buttery and topped with powdered parmesian cheese. I might order something else from this company in the future, I am not sure.    [12 Jul 2005 18:17:38]
