Better Check Your Bill Every Time
My family are regulars of this restaurant. We come to this restaurant often. Since they give a free pizookie dessert for the birthday person, we like to celebrate birthdays there, as well. However, lately, I had been overcharged constantly by the "new" computer system. We always ordered the same things, so the bill amount would be about the same each time. However, the last few times we were there, we noticed the bill was higher than usual. Well, my husband never liked to check the bill, so I had a hard time convincing him to let me look at the bill first. Two weeks ago, I checked the bill for the first time and we were charged for three extra drinks that we did not order. Last night, we were charged for two drinks that should have been included in the two kid's meals. They took off one drink and told me that the strawberry lemonade is $2.75 and it is not a selection for the kid's meal. Well, he could have told my eight-year-old when she was asking for it. Also, they also charged us for the "free" birthday pizookie. I had to tell the waiter that he had made a mistake on the bill, and he went back to correct it. Yet, my husband was mad since it was his birthday and he did not like me to make any fuss on his birthday.

Today, I talked to other people about these incidents. They told me that they had had similar experiences over there. Overall, BJ's has good food and drink, but the service is really below average.    [24 Apr 2008 16:51:45]
