Excellent seafood and good wine prices!
You can spend a lot of money in most Pacfic Grove restaurants and not do any better than Passionfish. Our B and B recommended it and we were reluctant since we had never heard of it and it wasn't overlooking the water. Turns out that it is a new restaurant in the former Crocodile Grill site. Seafood was stellar and the wine very, very reasonably priced. We feel it is the #1 restaurant in Pacific Grove for value for the buck and excellent seafood. Don't miss it. We have put it on our list for our next visit to Pacific Grove/Monterey Bay area. The only negative was it was very busy and you need reservations in advance. The decor although nice was not overly done. ITFS= It's the food. Restaurant was crowded and somewhat noisy but worth it. I guess that's California.    [07 Jul 2004 00:13:27]
