Good food and atmosphere Food - the food was very good, nice presentation, they made substitutions.
Service - friendly servers, made some conversation when appropriate, let you stay for hours after dinner to talk on slow nights.
Ambiance - small cozy, quiet, good for conversation. [18 Mar 2002 14:04:54]

bad service, bad food I went to Bella Luna today for a late lunch.
Another patron was waiting for a single table... we were all ignored for so long that the staff assumed we were together, although we had arrived separately.
After another long wait the owner or manager came out to take our order. Later, our server came by unaware someone else had finally taken our order.
My fettucine alla contadina came with overly salty sausage, and the noodles on top hid a clumped mass of fettucine that appeared to have been dropped in the pot with no attempt to break the noodles up.
My friend was also underwhelmed with the food and service. Aside from the bread, served with olive oil accented with garlic and a few leaves of spice, the meal was totally unmemorable, and a true disappointment for $31 (with a large bottle of spring water.
The portions were small, epsecially for the quality. [16 Jun 2003 05:52:43]

Not worth price $50 dollars for (what tasted like) microwaved rizzoto, a plate of 5 minute spaghetti, two glasses of wine, 1 1/2 hours of meal. Nice atmosphere though, very well decorated. Wine is pretty good too.
Service sucked (only asked if I wanted more wine -$$$). Food certainly not worth the price. [22 Jul 2003 18:38:50]

Disappointed My friend had an ok entree, but my fettucini was served in a huge clump surrounded by handful of loose noodles.
About the only good thing was the bread and olive oil.
I felt bad for having brought my friend there. A shame that such a nice decor was ruined by the food. [25 Jan 2004 05:56:54]
