Good Breakfast
Hobee's is a Palo Alto institution for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast food is served all day.

Hobee's uses spices to the extreme, the French toast is loaded with cinnamon, the orange ice tea is overpowered by orange, etc. Subtlety in cookery is not their strong point. Yet somehow the lasagna is still bland despite being infused with basil.

Excellent salad, soup and bread bar.

If you go, stick to either breakfast or salad and you won't be disappointed.    [15 Dec 1999 04:09:21]
