great food!
As the woman behind the counter will probably tell you, this is not fast food. You'll need some time to sit and enjoy the delicious food here. The portions are generous and the food is made right when you order. I highly recommend this place.    [13 Jul 2004 16:07:07]

I had the beer battered shrimp, which had too much batter, the macaroni and cheese was bland and not cheesy at all, the cornbread was okay, the yams were okay. The peach cobbler was no nutmeg in there, just sweet. The Service and Ambiance was good, overall I would not choose to go there again for soul food, I would cook it myself.

I also had the Catfish fish, it looks as if it was fried in dirty grease, it was dark. The Corn was not sweet, it was also dark, and the Red Beans and Rice was bland.    [29 Sep 2005 21:41:33]
