Went There Sunday Night . . . Had dinner at the Liberty Hotel Restaurant on a Sunday night, when arriving did not seem like much, but inside was a different story. Comfortable surroundings, service was excellent and so was the food, choices of steak, pork and seafood dishes. Soup and salad included with entrée. Milton, our waiter, made the dinner enjoyable. Pittsburg's Best Kept Secret The Liberty Hotel has a wonderful history and you can read about it on their menu. One of their specialties is flambéed food, including steaks that they will grill and then light on fire right at your table. It makes for an impressive show if nothing else. [13 Feb 2004 11:35:13]

Heaven on a Plate My husband and I went on a Friday night. I can highly recommend the melt-in-your-mouth prime rib. The atmosphere and the service are wonderful. The New York cheesecake with Bailey's Irish Creme was to die for. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and had a chance to compliment the chef. A wonderful little secret in Pittsburg. The Greatest Place to Go This is by far our favorite place. The food is perfect, as is the staff. It really is the place for fine dining. [04 Aug 2004 00:03:27]

Great Entertainment, Wonderful Food, Friendly Service Great evening. Friendly and efficient service, great food (prime rib was perfect), soup and salad was even included with the entrée, the pianist was brilliant -- she played Chopin -- the ambiance was elegant. Next week, my wife and I will return to try a flambéed dish. We were very impressed -- it's worth the drive. [08 Dec 2007 21:14:51]

The TRUE Black Diamond of Pittsburg We have lived in the area and never went down to the Liberty because we thought it was still only used as a hotel. One day, we went in for an event they were hosting and were shocked at the elegance and warmth we encountered inside. We have been back several times for Sunday brunch, early dinners, or just a cocktail in the bar after work. It has since become one of our favorite places to dine and socialize. Every time we have guests in town, we bring them down to experience the food, and they all have commented on the exuberant and attentive personality of the manager, Frank. He truly makes every dining experience worthwhile. I would highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a quality meal and a friendly smile. [09 Mar 2008 22:15:22]
