Bad Experience at Chef India
I had a very bad experience at the Chef India Restaurant on Jan 1st, 2006. I had gone to the restaurant to have dinner that day and the food was stale, most of them were the leftovers from the afternoon buffet and one of the varieties was even spoiled. I am a consultant and I do a lot of eat outs. This was my most pathetic experience ever. It might not be a bad idea to go for lunch to Chef India but I would definitely not recommend to go to that restaurant for dinner buffet.    [02 Jan 2006 23:49:01]

Bad experience for Diwali Party
Resp Readers,

I ordered food for diwali party for 90 people from Chef India Pleasanton. I was charged $10 per person. Expectations were high. I was not sure how to quantify the order once I get. Was it really 90 person food or 50 person food.

This food was not sufficient at all. It was finished in mins. The actual presence was very less. We had invited 90 but only 70 turned up.

Atleast 20 were left without food.

I would strongly recommend not to order any party food from this restaurant.    [22 Oct 2006 03:18:21]

Good (non-buffet) Dinner service
Contrary to some other reviews, I found the food and service at Chef India good. The ambiance was OK (CNN on a TV), but otherwise this was a fine experience, w/good flavors and fresh vegetables.    [29 May 2007 23:00:18]
