Creative and Good Quality.
This sushi restaurant is excellent if you are a maki (roll) fan. The quality is is good enough for nigiri too but the options on the roll menu is staggering. The service is excellent. Outside seating is available too. There are plenty of non-sushi choices and roll are always good for raw fish phobes. The only drawback is that it is a bit noisy on a crowded night; great if you want that party atmosphere.    [28 Dec 2003 20:59:37]

Decent Food, Poor Service/Ambiance
None of the people there speak English so it's difficult to communicate your order. In addition, it seems understaffed - the wait staff has to wait on the people at the bar too and they often forget what you asked for.

It's also poorly ventilated - always HOT and stuffy in there - they have vents, they just don't seem to work or they're not turning up the air high to conserve energy - either way, it's difficult to sit through a meal in the summer.

In addition, I sat at the bar one night and the owner was talking to some of the regulars and he seemed to insult some of the customers - talked about how cheap they were. I was not impressed with the guy, he seemed cocky.

I would say stick with the sushi, the rest of the regular dishes are just plain.    [17 Mar 2004 22:46:50]

Awesome!
I don't agree with what Lisa said at all. My husband and I eat at Senro quite frequently. The service is always great (yes they speak English) and very quick. The sushi is awesome and the 'shrimp festival' roll is to die for. It's a great place to take the family any night of the week. I highly recommend it!    [12 Nov 2004 14:25:13]

Great food, service is lacking
As far as food is concerned, Senro is one of the best sushi places I've found in this area. Their selection is terrific and the food is sensational - lovely presentation and perfect taste.

The service on the other hand is lacking. You often need to flag staff down for refills or for status. Food is brought when it is ready as opposed to appetizers first and meal second. Recently we had some of our group complete with their meal before others had received even half of their dishes.

The check was brought before all of the food had been rec'd - had to remind the waitress we were still waiting on several things.

Outside seating as well as inside. Can be uncomfortably hot inside - fans on slow and no A/C.

All in all - food is sensational, but expect to have to keep on top of the wait staff.    [08 Sep 2006 21:24:02]
