Decent Food at Decent prices Thai Wrap is a bustling little restaurant located in the far corner of the WalMart Shopping Center. The menu is pretty standard when compared to other Asian restaurants in the same price range, although it may be a little more extensive. What sets Thai wraps out are the wraps, however. These are pretty hearty dished in which "traditional" Asian foods are wrapped in lfavored tortillas. But while the name of the restaurant comes from the wraps, most people seem to order the "normal" dishes.
All foods are cooked to order, so service can be a little slow. During my last visit, my order was misplaced and had to be made again after some 15 minutes had elapsed.
The food, though, is actually quite good. The owner and cooks are Thai, but the Chinese dishes are perhaps the best tasting in Poway as well as being about the least expensive. Both the price and quality more than make up for the waiting necessary to get your food. [09 Apr 2000 22:09:04]

New Owners Don't Do Any Favors Unfortunately, the restaurant has been bought, and the new owners have dramically reduced the menu. This has turned what is now called China Bowl & Wraps into a plebian Chinese fastfood takeout. Most of the good dishes have been dropped leaving your typical sweet and sour pork/Mongolian beef type dishes. All the Thai dishes have gone, but at least the wraps have been kept.
