Flavors were melt-in-your-mouth good Flavors were melt-in-your-mouth good . . . and when I ate the lasagna, I was thinking I was acting like Garfield the cat gobbling it down. [06 Mar 2006 01:37:38]

Mamma Rosa . . . That'sa Some Great Pizza! This real Italian food is excellent. The prices are great, and the service is exceptional. Mamma Rosa's is one of those best-kept secrets in Ramona. Try it. You'll become a regular. I am. [15 Feb 2007 21:27:50]

Blah! We ordered a chicken and roasted garlic pizza and an order of garlic bread. What an incredible disappointment. The pizza sauce had very little flavor, the chicken was nothing special and there was very little of it, the roasted garlic was not really roasted and somehow had a slightly chemical flavor to it. Roasted garlic has a mellow taste and a creamy texture; this had neither. The pizza did have a decent amount of cheese, but that was the only plus. I made myself a turkey sandwich for dinner instead of eating the pizza.
The garlic bread was inedible, as it was hard as a rock and seemed to have been mopped with a substance like "theater popcorn butter." You could only hope to tear it with your teeth, as it was impossible to bite into it normally.
I might give them another try and see what they can do with a pasta entrée, but I'm not holding out much hope. [13 Oct 2007 22:02:22]

Great Food, Crazy Service I love this little place and go there often. I highly recommend it. One thing you'll have to put up with is the service. It is slow and they often get the orders screwed up. If you have the time, the food is great, but the service is hit and miss. Save room for dessert! [13 Feb 2008 14:58:17]

Yummy Food! I have eaten at Mama Rosa's for many years. I have never had a meal I didn't like! The place gets hoppin' and the service can be slow. A neat place to have a relaxed dinner. If you are in a rush ... don't do it. [15 Jun 2009 19:43:25]
