An excellent choice for lunch
I had the double cheeseburger w/bacon and cheese on something like a hero roll w/steak fries today for lunch for $7.
I really enjoyed the meal and the setup of the place. Very laid back w/large booths and plasma's on the wall.

The cook is on "display" through a window as he prepares your meals.
Next time we'll try the bbq meals as they did smell great.
I was pleasantly surprised.    [08 Aug 2007 02:05:50]

Recent dining experience 1st week in August
I started going there back in April and kept returning because the meat was cooked so tender. Lately the meat has been dry or overcooked. (like its been sitting for a while and not served)

Just some feedback so it doesn't slide any further... I liked it so much the first few times, and I'd really like to see it come back to those standards.    [23 Aug 2007 14:32:58]

Jan 12 2008 experience
My family and I went to eat at Bobby Bajas before because we drove by and thought the name was catchy. We were seated in a dark corner away from all the ambiance. The two dishes of shrimp scampi were horrible and almost tasted rotten, so we traded for steaks, which were great. Our choice of grilled veggies and mashed potatoes were horrible as well and not even touched on all three plates. The food tasted like it was sitting out for a VERY long time and just reheated. So we spoke to a manager who was happy to take s few things off the OUTRAGEOUS bill.    [13 Jan 2008 14:54:15]

Slooooooow Service
We heard that Taco Tuesday was yummy and highly recommended. We went there with three other families (12 of us). It was NOT busy. There were patrons at three other tables. We arrived a few minutes after 7pm. It took quite a while for the waiter to take our drink order and a LONG time for him to bring our drinks. Then when he finally took our orders, everyone ordered tacos, except one child, who ordered the kid's chicken strip meal. It took OVER 45 more minutes to get our food! The orders were not correct. No cheese -- had cheese; no salsa -- had salsa; 4 tacos -- got 6; ordered fish, lobster and carne asada -- got the fish and carne asada only. One teenager asked for a second refill on her drink (because it took so long for our food!). The waiter said that only the first refill was free -- he had to charge for another drink. One person had iced tea and wanted a refill (first one) to drink with their meal. The waiter came back and said that kitchen had already "dumped it out" for the evening. We did not bother to complain as we just wanted to get out of there.

Very disappointed.    [27 Mar 2008 19:22:06]
