huge portions; excellent food
Great for people who are very hungry but want excellent food, Black Bear Diner is a lot like Denny's (but on the opposite side of the quality scale, meaning way improved from Denny's). The prices are not very steep, but you have to pay in cash. If you have a craving for pasta and ignore the warning about the spaghetti, order it without the sauce (tell them to bring some butter on the side instead).    [14 Feb 2004 20:43:22]

Recommended Dishes: Anything but spaghetti, they tend to put WAY too much oregano in it.
