The Absolutely Worst Treatment Ever in My Life!
I stopped on 2/3/08 with my 11-year-old daughter and her friend; the three of us headed to the restroom before getting ready to order. I realized as we turned the corner and walked down the hall that someone was hollering at us. "Only one person at a time in there! Stay in the hall where I can see you!" I looked around the corner, "What??" She yelled again to stay where she could see us, but I could see she had a security camera. I didn't ask why only one person was permitted in the restroom at a time. Our guest went in; while my daughter and I waited, we looked at things in the store area of this Burger King (it has a gas station as well). I picked up a small (7"x12" or so) empty box being used as a box lid on some sets of six drinks sealed in plastic, and the shouting began again. "Put that down! I can see you on my security camera! There won't be any stealing!" I was in shock. My daughter's friend came out and I went in, hurrying to get out before she said something awful to the girls! When I came out they told me she had said, "Awful that an old lady has to be a thief!" When I heard this, the girls and I left, and I told her we would never be coming back. "Well that's not COOL!," she said, and she came towards us, but we just left. I am a college instructor, and my two young girls are the best-behaved kids. What was wrong with this mentally disturbed individual? Burger King . . . we WON'T be back to this place, even through we've frequently stopped on our way through Redding. Her shift was on Feb. 3rd, about 11:30 or noon. She was not behind the food counter, but behind the counter dealing with the gas station items.
