Discussed and Displeased
I have so much to say, but don't know where to start. Recently, I went to the old spaghetti factory in Roseville with my family(my husband and 2 children)to enjoy a nice evening together. We were placed on the waiting list and quoted 10/15 minutes. So after an hours goes by, I went to the front desk to state my frustration. It turns out that they forgot to put my name down. A manager (didn't get the name) helped us out and gave a hundred apoligies. I let it go and pretended that it never happend. My frustrations arose again when it took the server 20 min to get to our table. Not to metion she was very rude and was chewing gum while taking our order...very unprofessional. We received rock hard bread and watered down salads. Our food was cold and uncooked. My husband ordered a meal with chicken that was uncooked and we had the waitress take it back. My husband lost his appetiate, so we didn't want the meal anymore. They refused to take it off the check because we apparently ate most of the meal. This was not true. I explained the situation to the manager (Heather) about this and she refused to help. Her lack of customer service is probably the reason why she is stuck in this job in the first place. I do not appriciate being called a liar especially in front of my two children. I have wrote to the company about this and I have not received anything back. This experience had turned my away for this fake Italian restaurant that lacks the fundamentals of running a business.    [13 Dec 2003 19:30:58]

The Best Italian Roseville has to Offer
The best Italian the greater Sacramento area has to offer - and my family and I have tried them all since Diccico's closed. If you do not like Spaghetti Factory, do not bother doing Italian in Sacramento, try Pietro's in Vacaville.    [15 Oct 2005 15:42:47]

Decent prices, bad management
I have gone to this particular restaraunt many times with 4 other members of my family (total of five people). Almost every time we have gone, we wait for a long time when there are several empty tables. When we are finally seated, we are often put at a table for four people with a fifth chair sqeezed in. Last night we went and were told a wait of 10 to 15 minutes. After about 20 min, one of us went to the desk to ask, and we were told they were just waiting for a bigger table. After another 10 minutes, a group of five that came in after us was called to be seated. We again went to the front desk and found that they overlooked us (even though we had just been at the desk inquiring 10 min previous to this.) So, they said they would immediately seat us, so they sat us all five of us at a very small round table for four. We complained but they said they had no other tables available (even though there were several larger tables sitting empty). The waiters were nice and the food was decent but it is ridiculous the way they organize how people are seated. It made the meal very uncomfortable since none of us had any elbow room and hardly any room on the table for the bread and food and drinks. This has happened so many times that last night was probably the last time we will choose to eat at this restaurant.    [08 Jan 2006 01:17:55]
