Great Thai Food!
The Thai food here is great! It is very very clean and the atmosphere is terrific. On Saturdays, after eight I believe, they have a live band there. In addition to that they have several TVs set up around the restaurant. Normally I don't like Thai food, but Banana Bay is great.    [02 Oct 2003 22:50:41]

I really love this restaurant, it's more of a contemporary Thai/ south east Asian type of food it opens late (till 2-3a.m. on the weekends?)... good ambiance especially with the band playing on the weekend. The band rocks!! good voice!    [01 Jan 2004 23:31:52]

another thai noodle restaurant
Food here is so so, service is good, the atmosphere is nice. But if you want good Thai food, you're better of at Noodle World in Alhambra.    [19 May 2004 21:07:23]

i love this place
I am very picky about restaurants but this place is really great... the food is really good and cheap. The place is a nice place to go on a date or just hang out with friends.    [26 Jul 2004 02:55:31]

Best Thai
I've been to many Thai restaurants and I only would recommend a few, but Banana Bay is by far my favorite Thai restaurant. They have more than good food at this restaurant. They have a nice salt water tank set up next to the bar and have a very smooth jazz band that plays at night. The only thing I have against this restaurant is their service, unless you get a guy named Phil. He's the only one that makes my experience better than it already is.    [03 May 2006 15:37:11]

good food, bad service.
The food is good and it's at a great price. The service, however, is horrible, especially when it gets busy. It is impossible to flag down a server, and food takes a while to come out. They also have a tendency of NOT bringing out your appetizers before your actual meal. I don't even bother specifying to bring it out before because I feel like my other food is just sitting in the back getting cold.    [09 Sep 2006 23:23:28]
