Good Eats. The dishes are delicious. I remember going there as a kid and eating everything on my plate. The place is affordable and every so often coupons can be found making it even more so. [14 Jan 2004 02:28:45]

Waiting for the reopening! Good family atmosphere; great food and service. My family and friends have been coming since the beginning. Hope you re-open real soon. [22 Jun 2006 16:37:15]

Good food, bad service The food is surprisingly authentic--more than you would think of getting in Rowland Heights--with a fairly wide variety of menu items to select from and a much larger interior than it appears from the outside. Overall, we were satisfied with the food; but the service was just a step up from terrible. The staff did not greet us upon entering the restaurant and all that we spoke with used overly casual language, which was a bit of a disappointment -- sort of like ordering food at a Taco Bell or McDonalds. Our food arrived promptly as did our check but the empty plates stayed on our table for far too long--ten minutes or so. We did not see much of our server, and it didn't seem all that busy, so we eventually had to flag down another server to get to-go boxes. Our server did bring us our to-go boxes and that was the last we saw of her. She may have been distracted by the birthday party going on in the kitchen area; apparently, it was somebody's birthday so they thought it would be appropriate to sing happy birthday (very loudly) during open hours. We also did catch a drift of cigarette smoke at one point in the evening that might have come from the back kitchen area. Who knows, maybe it was our server on a smoke break and that is why we saw so little of her. [19 Nov 2006 14:54:34]
