You could do worse Serving dim sum 9:00 am to 9:00 pm seven days a week, Capital Tea Garden is an ideal place when you find your self developing a strong craving. The food is above average compared to most other places in Sacramento, not to mention cheaper too. Only three (dim sum) menu items are priced at $2.40 a plate, the remaining $1.80. Definitely a place worth trying. [25 Jul 2003 12:37:11]

Alright, but those prices and hours! Dim sum served from 9am to 9pm. Food is good but nothing fancy; no sauces served with dim sum. Soy sauce and hot chili oil are on the table, but next time I'll ask for soy sauce and vinegar. You get to order from a menu, so no waiting around for someone with a tray to wheel out random dim sum. Prices can't be beat: my girlfriend and I had to be rolled out we ate so much--for only $6 each. And we had leftovers.
The late hours and great prices make this an easy 4 out of 5, even though the food, though good, is plain. One thing I noticed: just about everyone inside looked like a neighborhood regular. (And if you're new to dim sum and are still getting used to the dishes, this place is for you). [24 Nov 2003 02:11:57]
