Finally real NY Style pizza by the slice in CA!
By far the best real NY Style pizza I've had since I was last in NY. Nice light crust that has a gentle "snap" to it when you bite into it. Sauce is tasty and the toppings are balanced proportionally with the thin crust. The atmosphere is auto racing-themed with racing and racing movie pictures on the walls from different eras. The service was super quick. I was in and out in less then 2 minutes (I guess that's why they're called SPEEDERIA PIZZERIA. Try the "Speederia Special"-2 slices and a soda $5.00.      NY Style Addict

Excellent New York Style Pizzas.
The pizzas are fresh, hot and tasty. 16" pizza sold by the slice. Its a small restaurant located by Laurel and San Carlos. Usually lines at lunchtime, so you might have to wait for a crisp pizza but its worth it! Get the special of pizzas and a drink, its a good value.    [19 Jul 2005 15:45:13]
