Sitting at the bar is like sitting at the chef's table, it's also fun and everyone seems to talk with each other.

It's easy to find a favorite dish -- but remember, if the chef didn't think it was fresh enough that day, it won't be on the menu, so try something else!

You also get a nice, full glass of wine, not a chintzy pour.

The owners and staff are the same, and they'll remember you, so if you want a place to call "yours" with great food and wine, it's a shoe-in. It's a fine dine, but you can be casual. If you are looking for a snobby place, don't come here.    [10 Feb 2005 19:54:04]

Yummy Food!

Wow! Try It, You'll Love It!
We ate there last night with friends and what an incredible meal.

We had three appetizers and each of us had a different entree and sampled the others dishes.

Appetizers: The escargot was fabulous, as were the breaded and fried artichoke hearts. The bacon-wrapped prawns were perfection.

Entrees: I had rack of lamb; my husband, filet of beef with risotto; our friend, filet of beef with garlic potatoes; and her husband, bay scallops grilled with risotto. Each bite was a melody of perfect flavors.

The service was warm and welcoming and Pete, the host, charming and personable. It was a memorable and delicious meal. Can't wait to go again!    [27 Apr 2007 13:32:30]
