Good seafood selections If you are a seafood lover, this is a great place. If you can't eat seafood you will have a difficult time finding something, though it is possible. The food was good, service was excellent and the view of the bay was great. One does wonder though about the snow decorations throughout the restaurant. Perhaps christmas decorations someone forgot to take down? [27 Jan 2004 14:44:51]

Something's Fishy This is the place your out-of-town guests will want to go. San Diego equals seafood, right? While they may not be disappointed by the food, they will be disappointed by the wait. They offer 'call ahead seating' which seems like a good idea, right? How different from that is a reservation? Well, apparently, there is a great deal of difference. We 'called ahead' and still had to wait 45 minutes for a table once we got there. Menu is quite diverse with good fresh fish and seafood options, but I left still a bit underwhelmed. Old Time Seafood Great old style fried fish with smooth and dilly homemade tartar sauce. The view is hard to beat, but beware the wait at peak season, peak time. If you can't wait, try the Fishette, with lots of fried and salad options. They are a tradtion in San Diego and also have a La Mesa branch situated on a pond with ducks to feed.
