Bad food, Indifferent Service
Probably the worst dinner we have had in a "Japanese" restaurant anywhere. We should have left when the Tsunemono arrived(vegetable pickled in salt water) which was rancid. One of us ordered the grilled squid, it arrived smelling acrid, the waitress who offered no apology agreed to replace the dish, explaining it was just probably a bad squid among the box they received. The replacement was the same... basically rotten. Another of us ordered the Kaiseki Bento, the beef was so salty it was not edible, the shrimp was tough and not edible, the salmon had no flavor.    [29 Jul 2004 02:13:08]
