Raw! Raw! Raw! Organica is certainly an odd restaurant. Everything in the restaurant is created starting from nothing but organic produce. The cooks do an amazing job of making elaborate creations out of the incredible simple ingredients of raw fruits, vegetables, and n uts.
From the moment I walked in the door, I knew I was in the right place. The decor is very earthy and inviting. I've been there twice and have been amazed by the food each time.
The pesto pizza has far too many ingredients to count and has an incred i ble range of textures and flavors. Don't let its small size fool you; it's quite a hearty meal.
The enchilada with cheese is somehow made from ginger, macadamia nuts, pumpkin and flax seeds, and a host of other odd ingredients which I'd never associate with the taste of an enchilada. But after a point, Juliano's amazing recipes are not worth pondering because the food simply tastes so good.fo [06 May 2000 03:28:40]

Raw! Raw! Raw! Uncooked food? Think pre-caveman and cavewoman, before fire and electricity sullied the full flavors of the earth's raw, organic gifts. Raw is real - the flavors are stunning, if you check your preconceptions at the door. It's all raw and it's all good. . . [31 May 2000 03:16:35]
