Description

PJ's is a casual Cajun seafood restaurant. Tending toward the intimate in size, the atmosphere is very friendly. During Mardi Gras, the restaurant is a center of party and culinary activity.

Such delicacies as Cajun shrimp and alligator are on the menu. Peel and eat shrimp are often starters. The New Zealand shrimp are huge.

Lunch and dinner service, brunch on Sundays.

Cost is moderate to expensive.

Perennial San Francisco Favorite Sea Food Restaurant
PJ's is where San Franciscans go to have sea food - Cajun style. The New Zealand Shrimp are excellent; the Cajun Shrimp, divine; the Lamb Chops, Prawns and Mashed Potatoes, TDF. Start it all with an Alligator Egg and, if you're inclined, a Blackened Voodoo. Great "Nawlin's" tradition!

You absoluely must have the chocolate cake for dessert.

There is a reason PJ's is a perennial "Best of the Bay"...    [09 Dec 1999 11:16:51]

Ask for Chela
Aside from the wonderful dishes, in order to fully appreciate P.J.'s, one must ask to be waited on by the beautiful and vivacious Chela. She deserves five stars!!!    [24 Aug 2002 03:33:44]
