This restaurant has 2 sections - a dining room that is more formal, and may require reservations (I've never been on that side, so I'm not sure about it), as well as a small, cafe style side. This is where I've spent all my time. It only seats about 30 at the tables and another 10-12 at the bar, so I recommend reservations.

I've been there dressed casual to formal, and it all fits.

I've eaten at 10-15 different sushi restaurants in SF, and I think this is the best, a thought that's been backed by the many friends I've introduced to it. The sushi is always fresh and the preparations are wonderful - the portions are larger than most other sushi places, but the prices are a bit higher. The trade off is well worth it.

Service is good, and the wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly.    [14 Dec 1999 20:58:50]

Recommended Dishes: any of the sushi, especially spider rolls, Unagi, and whatever specials they have on; non-sushi eaters, try the seasame chicken
