Nothing short of tasteless
I thought I gave Dac Phuc a try since it's two blocks from where I work.

The noodle soups are rather tasteless and the meat and shrimp that came with it are kinda shabby. Yes, you can juice it up with chili sauce and that dark sweet sauce. But what's the point of paying if you have to work on your soup that tastes like water?

This place isn't that packed. Decorations ain't there. Furniture's old but clean. If you want a quick meal, the chef isn't in a hurry either. Compared to all other Vietnamese noodles in the area, ESPECIALLY with the SF South Bay's densely populated Vietnamese community, this is one place you can skip entirely.    [14 Apr 2005 16:24:37]
