Great burritos I love this place. They offer a variety of different sauces too. [05 Aug 2003 00:04:00]

critical
Next time, a burrito I was in town overnight, it was late, I was hungry. So glad I found something open late that wasn't a burger joint! I ordered a dinner plate of carnitas. The plates come with tortillas, your choice of beans (about 4 varieties), rice, guacamole, and salad. The salad is not a salad, rather, a very small amount of chopped lettuce, a sliver of tomato, and some sliced jalapenos. Not really worth mentioning, or including on the plate. I realized that I could have saved a few dollars and ordered a big burrito instead, which has the same ingredients as the dinner plates. My only complaint was that the carnitas, although flavorful, was too dry. This is not fine dining. You step up to the counter and place your order, walk to the cashier and pay, and can sit at wooden picnic-bench type tables. While you're waiting for your food you can help yourself to the salsa bar which had 6 salsas plus roasted peppers, radishes, and a few other items. They also have Mexican fruit smoothies, which are made to order. [25 Aug 2003 02:46:27]
